February 3rd

Hi All!

I hope you are having a wonderful week!  The weather has been beautiful!

First, just a reminder, if you have any pictures from the farm, please send them to Josiah at: sailorj@zoho.com or by text at: 480-540-1705 so that he can add them into the Yearbook.

Second, we are still in need of a parent or two who would be willing to substitute run P.E. for a few weeks while Mr. D. continues to heal. If this is something that sounds like fun for you, please let me know!

Third, remember to look through Lost and Found and remove all of your old stuff.

Schedule for Friday, February 3, 2023

From 10-Noon(ish) we will break into group activities:

Group A-- Ages 5-8

You will be doing Gardening this week. Ms. Paula is planning on working on the ins and outs of composting this week. Come prepared to learn a lot and get dirty!!

Parents, if your little ones tend to wander, please stay close by. You are responsible for taking your child to the restroom or providing them with water if they get thirsty. Try to remind them that this is a group activity, and they should try to stick with their group as much as possible. That will really help keep things flowing smoothly for everyone. <3

Materials Needed:

Sunscreen and Water Bottles...if you so desire.

And clothes/shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.

Garden gloves if you think you want them.

Group B--Ages 9-12

You will be doing P.E. this week. Since there is no Mr. D, there may or may not be kickball this week.  Come and find out what fun activity you'll be doing...just be prepared to do some running in the pasture!

Materials Needed:

Tennis shoes and comfortable clothes

Water bottles

Sunscreen if you so desire

Group C--Ages 13-18

You will be doing the Project this week. This week you will be working together in teams to solve a scavenger hunt. Be prepared to do some work to solve some puzzles and win a (SMALL) prize! Note: there may be paint involved or some sort of dirt. Don't wear your nicest clothes!

Materials Needed:

Sunscreen and Water Bottles...if you so desire.

Clothes/shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.

A great attitude!

Those teenagers that do not feel like participating in the Project are welcome to volunteer with Group A. Please note: you WILL be put to work if you volunteer in that capacity!

Picnic Lunch

Everyone is welcome to stay and have a picnic lunch in the backyard area. You are responsible for bringing your own lunch. Please do not feed any animals with that lunch and please make sure all garbage is disposed of in the dumpster or garbage can.
