November 7th

Hi All!

I hope everyone had a wonderful week and getting a chance to enjoy this beautiful weather!  We had an interesting week on the farm. You will notice some big changes when you come this week! I won't ruin the surprise, but Mr. D. has been working REALLY hard this week. I have mentioned it was coming so some of you at least won't be surprised. No new animals this week though ;-). 

And now on to this week's agenda

Schedule for Friday, November 7, 2025

From 10-Noon(ish) we will break into group activities:

Group A-- Ages 5-8

You will be doing P.E. this week. Mr. Samuel will be leading P.E. for you this week...most likely letting you all chase him around the pasture for an hour straight. Come prepared to run! 

Parents, if your little ones tend to wander, please stay close by. You are responsible for taking your child to the restroom or providing them with water if they get thirsty. Try to remind them that this is a group activity, and they should try to stick with their group as much as possible. That will really help keep things flowing smoothly for everyone. 

Materials Needed: 

Sunscreen if you so desire.

Water Bottles. (Though the water in the shop kitchen is drinkable, we do not have enough cups to provide water for all of the thirsty kiddos that come to the farm.) 

Clothes/shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.

Athletic shoes with socks would be a good idea this week.

Group B--Ages 9-12  

You will be doing Project this week. Just like Group A and Group C, you will be playing icebreaker games this week, including setting up a Hungry, Hungry, Hippos game. This project has been a lot of fun the last few weeks! 

Materials Needed: 

Sunscreen and Water Bottles...if you so desire. 

A willingness to learn

Group C--Ages 13-18

You will be doing Gardening this week. As it is the start of Thanksgiving month, Ms. Paula has some plans for you to help with a "Gratitude Garden". I know I'm excited to see how it turns out! 

Materials Needed: 

Sunscreen and Water Bottles...if you so desire. 

Gardening gloves if you think you want them.

Clothes/shoes that you don't mind getting dirty and/or wet.

A great attitude!

Those teenagers that do not feel like participating in the Project are welcome to volunteer with Group A. Please note, you WILL be put to work if you volunteer in that capacity!

Picnic Lunch

Everyone is welcome to stay and have a picnic lunch in the backyard area. You are responsible for bringing your own lunch. Please do not feed any animals with that lunch and please make sure all garbage is disposed of in the dumpster or garbage can.

November 28th (Thanksgiving Weekend)

December 5th (We will be at the courthouse adopting our baby😊)

December 26th (Christmas weekend)

January 2nd (New Year's weekend)

January 9th (Baby is having a surgery to fix her cleft lip)

February 6th (Baby has an appointment)

March 6th (Baby has a surgery to fix her cleft palate)

April 3rd (Good Friday)

April 17th (My daughter is getting married!!!)

I apologize in advance for taking so many days off, but it really couldn't be helped. We are taking off for all good things though!  Hopefully we won't miss any additional weeks due to weather/illness!
