Straw Rockets and Bernoulli's Principle--Group A/B Info

Hi-

I had a lot of fun today with our Project group. I was certain the wind would ruin everything, but it all went well (I think!).  However, the wind made it really difficult to hear as well as work, so for those who want to re-do today's project at home, here you go!


For those who want to make those straw rockets at home, here is the pdf file:

I printed them out with regular paper, but cardstock would work well also. Print them and cut them. 

For those who were unable to be with us, here are the instructions:

Materials Needed:

Two types of straws with different diameters

Tape

Cut the larger straw in half. Tape one end to seal off the opening. Tape the straw to the back of the rocket. After that, insert a smaller straw into the larger straw for your launcher. Have fun!
