February 4th

(I just really liked this meme, so I'm sharing it with you all ;-).  I'm sure you all can appreciate it as well!)

Hi all!

First and foremost... Ms. Paula will be back this week!!!  Yay!!! I'm so glad she's feeling better. I've missed her! (and so has our garden!)  See what she grew in our garden while she was sick??  Romanesco Broccoli!  YUM!!!

Let's all repeat my favorite phrase: "Everyone needs a Paula!"

Second, I must apologize for my lateness in getting these blogs out on time recently. My parents are in town (yay!), and I just lose track of my days!

Third, it got cold really fast!  Make sure you are dressed for the weather on Friday!

And now on to the important stuff...

Here is what is on the agenda for this week:

Schedule for Friday, February 4, 2022

From 10-Noon(ish) we will break into group activities:

Group A-- Ages 5-8

You will be doing Gardening this week. Ms. Paula is going to try to plant some seeds in the wildflower garden...again. This time you guys will be placing straw from the puppy pen on top to try to keep the chickens out. Let's experiment together!

Parents, if your little ones tend to wander, please stay close by. You are responsible for taking your child to the restroom or providing them with water if they get thirsty. Try to remind them that this is a group activity, and they should try to stick with their group as much as possible. That will really help keep things flowing smoothly for everyone. <3

Materials Needed:

A cheerful spirit!

Group B--Ages 9-12

You will be doing PE this week.
Sunscreen and water bottles are recommended.

Materials Needed:

Tennis shoes and comfortable clothes

Water

Group C--Ages 13-18

You will be doing Project this week. We will be working on a few engineering-type projects. Come enjoy building and being creative.

Materials Needed:

Good attitude

Those teenagers that do not feel like participating with the Project are welcome to volunteer with Group A--those little ones love when teenagers help!
