March 4th

Hi all!

So, let's do a redo!  Since we missed last week, we're just going to try again for this week. :-)

Just to help you out for goat kidding season, we only have three does (females) due this year, but we are expecting kids on the ground sometime before next Friday the 11th. Watch the blog for updates!  Once again, should a kidding (goat birth) happen during co-op, I (Mrs. Davis) will be unavailable for the rest of the day. Children will be separated into P.E. and Gardening and/or free play (depending on how everyone feels for the day). Those children that are capable of being VERY quiet and following directions will be allowed to watch the birth, but please know, I take labor/delivery very seriously and I will kick out any child who is causing a distraction and stressing out my doe because it can cause birthing complications.

However, I don't anticipate a kidding to happen this Friday, so...

Here is what is on the agenda for this week:

Schedule for Friday, March 4, 2022

From 10-Noon(ish) we will break into group activities:

Group A-- Ages 5-8

We will be talking about surface tension. The plan is bubbles, bubbles, bubbles. Who doesn't love bubbles?

Materials Needed: clothes that can get dirty and a good attempt at patience!

Group B-- Ages 9-12

You will be doing PE this week.  Be prepared for another round of kickball or some other fun team game that Mr. D has up his sleeves. And have FUN!!

Materials Needed: Tennis shoes, comfortable clothes and WATER.

Group C-- Ages 13-18

You will be doing Gardening this week. Please be prepared to get dirty.  If you want to wear gardening gloves, please bring your own. Come prepared to learn, since Ms. Paula is a wealth of information!

Please note: Teens are held to a slightly higher standard than the younger kids. If you choose not to participate in the activity of the day, we will "voluntell" you to help with the younger kids. A respectful, pleasant attitude is expected. You have been warned...

Materials Needed:

None
