March 11th

 Hi All!

Still no baby goats!!  Giselle and Clementine are holding out on us!  So we MIGHT be "inconvenienced" with a goat birth this Friday (though I'm still hoping it will happen before Thursday.)

Neither look super pregnant, but that is because they are both first time mamas (first fresheners in the goat world), which is also why I am waiting on pins and needles for them to finally have their babies. Very nerve-wracking for me when they are first timers! Giselle (the white one) was due on Monday, and we do not have an exact due date for Clementine, so anytime in the next three weeks (though I think it will be sooner rather than later.)  Keep watching the blog for updates!!!

So, that's what is going on at the farm...on to what is happening on Friday (unless it's a free day because baby goats are being born!!!)

Here is what is on the agenda for this week:

Schedule for Friday, March 11, 2022

From 10-Noon(ish) we will break into group activities:

Group A-- Ages 5-8

You will be doing P.E. this week. Be prepared to run and get dirty!

Parents, if your little ones tend to wander, please stay close by. You are responsible for taking your child to the restroom or providing them with water if they get thirsty. Try to remind them that this is a group activity, and they should try to stick with their group as much as possible. That will really help keep things flowing smoothly for everyone. <3

Materials Needed:

Sunscreen and Water Bottles...if you so desire.

And clothes/shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.

Group B--Ages 9-12

You will be doing Gardening this week. Ms. Paula has lots of fun things planned for you!  Be prepared to learn...a lot!

Materials Needed:

Sunscreen and Water Bottles...if you so desire.

And clothes/shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.

Gloves if you think you'll need them.

A great attitude!

Group C--Ages 13-18

You will be doing a Project this week. We've been doing bubbles for the younger kiddos, but don't worry...you'll get to have some bubble fun as well!  We will be learning about surface tension and doing some fun experiments involving bubbles (amongst other things!). Be prepared to act childish...in a mature, teenage fashion, of course!

Materials Needed:

Sunscreen and Water Bottles...if you so desire.

A willingness to play!

Those teenagers that do not feel like participating in the Project are welcome to volunteer with Group A. Please note: you WILL be put to work if you volunteer in that capacity!

Picnic Lunch

Everyone is welcome to stay and have a picnic lunch in the backyard area. You are responsible for bringing your own lunch. Please do not feed any animals with that lunch and please make sure all garbage is disposed of in the dumpster or garbage can.
