Hi All!
It has been a BEAUTIFUL week! We have been enjoying the weather--hope you all have been too! Emu eggs are still in the incubator. I was under the impression that they would start whistling/moving this week, however, I haven't seen any signs of that happening, so PROBABLY the emu eggs are not fertile. But we still have another couple of weeks before I can be certain. Keep your fingers crossed!
We have geese laying on eggs and ducks also laying on eggs, so hopefully we will have more of those soon!
We DO have baby chicks that hatched earlier this week, so you can peek in on those on Friday--just no touching!
For those of you who have been asking, our last Friday before summer break will be April 28th. We plan to meet each Friday until then (weather permitting!). We might have a water day or two over the summer, but no regular meetings again until sometime in September. I'll keep you posted!
And now on to this week's schedule!
From 10-Noon(ish) we will break into group activities:
Group A-- Ages 5-8

Sunscreen and Water Bottles...if you so desire.
And clothes/shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.
