Hi All!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend! We sure did! For those of you who are curious, my first grandbaby is:
As for upcoming "events", we will once again be having some vet students out to learn about goat care on Saturday, November 2nd around 1:00. If you would like to come observe, I know the students would welcome you. They will be learning how to do FAMACHA scoring as well as some ultrasounding of the does that just got bred this last month--and maybe some other vet-related skills. Please let me know if you would like to come watch so I can prepare an appropriate space for observers.
And now on to this week's co-op.
From 10-Noon(ish) we will break into group activities:
Group A-- Ages 5-8
Materials Needed:
Sunscreen if you so desire.
Water Bottles. (We do not have enough cups to provide water for all of the thirsty kiddos that come to the farm.)
Clothes/shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.
Group B--Ages 9-12
You will be doing Gardening this week. Ms. Paula has a lot of fun ideas as always, so come help and learn all sorts of fun new gardening tips!
Sunscreen and Water Bottles...if you so desire.
Clothes/shoes that you don't mind getting dirty and/or wet.
A great attitude!
Group C--Ages 13-18
Materials Needed:
Sunscreen and Water Bottles...if you so desire.
A willingness to learn
Those teenagers that do not feel like participating in the Project are welcome to volunteer with Group A. Please note, you WILL be put to work if you volunteer in that capacity!
