Hi All!
I have told many of you that I would update the blog with a fall co-op start date. Well, unfortunately I do not have one yet. Right now, I am thinking we MAY start back up October 10th, but that date may change so please check back again.
We had big news this summer. A child that we had wanted to adopt in January came back up for adoption July 21st. To get the full story (or at least the parts that I am able to share), you can read our Give, Send, Go post (I am not asking for money, as God already provided what we needed for the adoption, but I always ask for prayer). Anyway, I am currently with the baby in St. Louis as her body continues to heal. She is doing well and the adoption petition should be officially submitted to the courts this week. However, as long as she is in the hospital, I will be with her. Right now, the doctors are saying she will not be able to leave before Sept. 16th at the earliest. My hope is to get transferred to Phoenix Children's Hospital this week and get her set up with the cleft pallet specialists there so that we can get the surgery to fix that before coming home, but I don't know what all that entails.
Therefore, Co-Op does not officially have a start up date as it all depends when our sweet baby is able to come home. In the meantime, please pray for us. My family is doing all of the farm chores while I am away. And we have never been apart this long, so we are all missing each other a ton! But everyone agrees this is where I need to be right now.
I am sorry to make you all wait longer! I miss everyone!
