We had some goat babies!

For those of you who are interested, we delivered our first baby goats of the year, yesterday, February 3rd. Prima Ballerina had a boy and a girl around 1 pm. We were blessed to have a few of our homeschool buddies here to witness the birth. Unfortunately, it did end up needing to be an assisted birth, though everything ended up perfectly fine. The little buckling and the little doeling were fighting to come out first, Jacob and Esau style. Once I determined there was an issue, I called my husband in to figure out who was who and untangle them (I am just not as good at figuring out things with my hands the way he is).  The little buckling was pulled out first, followed quickly by the doeling.  Everyone is healthy and doing great!

Destiny is still on watch and can go at anytime (including tomorrow during homeschool co-op).
We'll keep you updated on any new additions!
