March 25th

 Hi All!

We had two new babies born, so of course, I have to share!

Davis Family Oh My Darlin (Clementine) had two boys (bucklings) early Saturday morning.

And, in case you were wondering, Patience is still doing great!

We're still waiting for our last doe, Clover, to have her babies. Should happen either tonight or tomorrow... she's going to explode any day now!

The good news is, I highly doubt we have to worry about our activities being interrupted by baby goats being born any more this year.

And now on to the important things...

Here is what is on the agenda for this week:

Schedule for Friday, March 25, 2022

From 10-Noon(ish) we will break into group activities:

Group A-- Ages 5-8

You will be doing a Project this week. Just like Group B from last week, we will be attempting to drop an egg from a ladder without breaking it. However, unlike Group B, we will be using pre-designed egg protectors that you will help make. Hopefully your eggs will survive their falls!

Materials Needed:

Nothing... maybe sunscreen or a hat. And water. It's going to be hot on Friday!

Group B-- Ages 9-12

You will be doing PE this week. Come prepared to run... a lot. I might try to encourage Mr. D to do something with water because... it's going to be hot!! (No need to wear swimsuits though--not going to get THAT wet even if he does use water)

Materials Needed:

DEFINITELY bring water to drink. And maybe put on some sunscreen. Seriously...it's going to be HOT on Friday!

Group C-- Ages 13-18
You will be doing Gardening this week. Please be prepared to get dirty.  If you want to wear gardening gloves, please bring your own. Come prepared to learn, since Ms. Paula is a wealth of information!

Materials Needed:

Water...to drink. We have hoses for the plants ;-).  And maybe sunscreen and/or a hat.

Picnic Lunch

Everyone is welcome to stay and have a picnic lunch in the backyard area. You are responsible for bringing your own lunch. Please do not feed any animals with that lunch and please make sure all garbage is disposed of in the dumpster or garbage can.
