June 14th--Water Day

Hi All!

We will be having our first "Water Day" of the summer this Friday, June 14th. Don't get all excited--it's still a hot farm with lots of animals...no random pools or fun splash pads.  However, my trees and grass enjoy a good soaking in this heat, so we might as well invite people to play.  We'll have sprinklers running and organized water games.  If you have a fun super soaker you want to bring, feel free to bring it--just make sure you take it home with you, and don't bring anything that you aren't willing to risk getting broken!

Special Water Day Rules:

Since modesty tends to vary from family to family, we want to be respectful of everyone. Besides the normal Code of Conduct Rules, we will add in a bit of a water day "dress code".
  • If you choose to wear swimsuits, we ask that everyone (boy and girl) is covered up (so shirts for boys and shirts/shorts for girls).
  • Avoid white shirts--especially with girls--since those tend to be see-through.
  • Wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet/muddy.

Materials Needed:

Drinking Water for your family
Towel (or air dry, I don't care!)
Food/snack if you want
Shoes that can be wet (or go barefoot like my kids!)
