July 19th - Water Day

Hi All!

Please note: We changed the date of our next Water Day from July 12th to July 19th because I forgot about the Homeschool Convention.  So...go enjoy that!

We will be having our second "Water Day" of the summer Friday, July 19th. We will once again be bringing out the Slip 'n Slide.  We'll also have sprinklers running and organized water games if enough kiddos want to play.  If you have a fun super soaker you want to bring, feel free to bring it--just make sure you take it home with you, and don't bring anything that you aren't willing to risk getting broken!

Special Water Day Rules:

Since modesty tends to vary from family to family, we want to be respectful of everyone. Besides the normal Code of Conduct Rules, we will add in a bit of a water day "dress code".
  • If you choose to wear swimsuits, we ask that everyone (boy and girl) is covered up (so shirts for boys and shirts/shorts for girls).
  • Avoid white shirts--especially with girls--since those tend to be see-through.
  • Wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet/muddy.

Materials Needed:

Drinking Water for your family
Towel (or air dry, I don't care!)
Food/snack if you want
Shoes that can be wet (or go barefoot like my kids!)

See you on the 19th!!
